Which will feature The San Diego Chargers vs. the undefeated New England Patriots. The Giants - Packers game will be played on Sunday, January 20th at 6:30 pm on FOX television and be available in High Definition TV. The NFL's conference finals were set as the New York Giants upset the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 Sunday to advance to the NFC championship at Green Bay Jan. 20. After stunning Peyton Manning and the defending champion Colts 28-24 on Sunday, San Diego moves on to face the 17-0 New England Patriots in the AFC title game. Here is a look at next week's matchups. AFC Final SAN DIEGO CHARGERS at NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS, Sun, Jan. 20, 3 p.m. ET The last time these two teams met, it was Sept. 16 and San Diego lost at New England 38-14. A lot has changed since, including the Chargers preventing a rematch of last year's Indianapolis and New England playoff. San Diego has now won eight straight. Tom Brady put another feather in the cap of his MVP season. The Pats QB threw 26 completions on 28 attempts to break the all-time NFL completion percentage record with a mark of 92.9% as New England eliminated Jacksonville with a 31-20 win. He smashed an old playoff record of 88% set by Phil Simms in the 1986 season's Super Bowl. The Patriots also moved their record to 17-0, matching the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only team to go unbeaten from the first game of the season to the Super Bowl. New England attempts to continue its march towards the first-ever 19-0 season next Sunday at home. NEW YORK GIANTS at GREEN BAY, Sunday, Jan. 20, 6:30 p.m. ET With a 42-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks the Packers posted their biggest point total in post-season history. The victory sent the Packers back to the conference finals for the first time in a decade. The Giants are now 9-1 on the road this season after beating the Cowboys on Sunday, so playing at Lambeau might present less of a challenge to New York than it did to the Seahawks. Ten yards and one touchdown separated this weekend's quarterback performances from the two teams. Eli Manning had 163 yards and two TDs, while Brett Favre had 173 yards and three passes for scores. The big difference between the two teams was in the running game. The Giants amassed a mere 90 yards on the ground against Dallas. Green Bay's Ryan Grant run for 202 yards on his own — in the snow. The New York Giants are in the NFC championship game for the first time since the 2000 season. The Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys, 21-17, to earn the right to face the Green Bay Packers; earlier, the San Diego Chargers defeated the Indianapolis Colts 28-24 to go to the AFC title game against New England.
